NANI – UNITED GETTING CLOSER TO WINNING PL

Former Manchester United winger Luis Nani has revealed that he believes his former club have continued to move closer towards winning the league title after close to 8 years since the last time they last clinched the league crown. The Red Devils last won the division’s title in 2013, which happens to be the last time legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson was in charge of the club.

Since then, they have toiled hard and have not been able to reach the apex of the league, losing the league title to Chelsea, Leicester City, Liverpool, and Manchester City within that period. There have also been appointments of several managers such as David Moyes, Louis Van Gaal, and José Mourinho as they kept on searching for a head coach that would propel them to a league title win, but neither of those managers was able to help achieve that goal.

Nani Shared The Old Manchester United Team

Having left Old Trafford for a long time, midfielder Luis Nani has been linked with a heartfelt interest in Manchester United. Nani is expecting the best from the old team. After a disappointing start to the season, the Red Devils are back in good spirits, with consecutive victories. In the middle of this week, master Jose Mourinho beat Juventus in the lead, in the lead and completely overwhelmed.

“I hope they continue to do well and get good results,” said teammate Luis Nani. This is another time, under the guidance of another coach, the team is different – so you can see the spirit of MU not as in the past. When I was playing there, sometimes we did not have good performances, but at the end, we proved we could do things that other teams did not. Within the last 15 minutes, we only attacked and attacked. We swim a lot and that is the spirit of the Reds. ”

UNITED EXPECTED TO REACH UCL KNOCKOUT PHASES

Manchester United are expected to reach the knockout phases ofthe UEFA Champions League for the 2018/2019 season. The season begins in a fortnight at the group stage level where United got a relatively easy draw compared to other English teams.

Man United would face Juventus, who now have Cristiano Ronaldo in their ranks, Valencia and young Boys. Both continental giants are expected to qualify from the group. The only issue is who would top the group and likely face a ‘smaller’ team in the next stage.

GOMES MAKING THE BUZZ IN MANCHESTER

Manchester United fans have been buzzing at the prospect of having talented starlet Angel Gomes feature for them. The 17-year old rising star is the cousin of former team player Luis Nani. The Portuguese was an award winning winger under Sir Alex Ferguson before moving on to other clubs, and winning the Euro 2016 with his national side.

Fans would be salivating at the prospect of Nani’s cousin accomplishing even greater feats for The Red Devils. Gomes has played once under Coach Jose Mourinho but the player wants many more opportunities to prove himself.
