Nani move to Juventus falls apart

Luis Nani the Manchester United winger was frustrated after his move to Juventus was cancelled out on the transfer deadline day. The 27 year old who has had his times at Manchester United was linked with a move to the Italian club where he would have the chance to play with Pirlo and many other superstars but the move collapsed in the end.

The Italian club had their moments and they were chasing the Portugese winger for a long time now and this time the move looked certain. Nani has been looking to leave Old Trafford for some time and even Manchester United showed signs of accepting bids for the winger as he has been out from the team due to injuries and he has also not been playing well recently.

After Ronaldo’s departure to Real Madrid Sir Alex Ferguson tried to make Nani the ace winger and fill the gap which Ronaldo had made but Nani was never really up to the huge task which was beckoning him. Although there were signs of him becoming a great player he was never consistent with his football and was sidelined too many times due to injury.

Manchester United had reportedly allowed Nani to go on loan in the January transfer window but the move to Juventus fell apart just hours because of his injury concerns. Nani is currently receiving treatment and there is bad news for the United fans as David Moyes has confirmed that the injury is much worse than what was expected and the player would be on the sidelines for another six weeks.

Juventus was looking forward to signing him but the injury problems made them change their decision in the last moment. With Pirlo expected to retire after the end of the season Juventus is in search for a quality player and they have been eyeing Nani from the last year.
