There is a lot of hype currently surrounding Manchester United’s teenage sensation Mason Greenwood, and he has deserved every bit of the praises he has been getting since making his debut for the club. The youngster, who rose through the ranks at the club from their youth academy, has been a revelation since his very first game for the Red Devils and he has not looked back since then.

The academy graduate was the club’s star performer during their last season’s Europa League campaign and scored a coi9oe of goals for the side as well. He has been equally brilliant this season and has excelled spectacularly whenever he has played games. Greenwood recently recorded his 100th appearance for Manchester United and judging by the fact that he’s still a teenager, it is evident to see how good a player he has been to have played as many as 100 matches for the club.

In those 100 games, he has recorded 40 goals and assists, further giving proof that he has brought about some more attacking flair to the United squad despite having not clocked 20 yet. He also recently smashed the record of the most Premier League goals scored by a teenager for the club, a record previously held by the club’s current overall top scorer Wayne Rooney.

Although United slipped to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Leicester City at Old Trafford on Tuesday night, Greenwood was the scorer of the United goal as he continued to shine brilliantly for Olé Gunnar Solksjær’s men.

Greenwood has earned himself one more fan after a former Red Devil, Luis Nani, revealed that the England international star has a big potential and a bright future for both his club and country. Nani said he has watched the kid a coi9oe of times and can tell that he is a special player who can make things happen quickly.
