Nani future In doubt

Manchester United winger Nani’s future at the Premier league outfit has been clouded under a lot of doubt for the last few months. The player came close to leaving the club last summer, but he was persuaded by new manager David Moyes to sign a new contract at the club. He ended up signing a five-year deal back in September, but that has proved it by only a temporary respite for the transfer speculation surrounding the Portuguese international. Nani featured very less in the second half of the season and he does not seem to be in the plans of the next manager as well.

Manchester United have not announced a permanent replacement for David Moyes yet, but it is understood that the Dutch national team coach – Louis van Gaal, who will be the next manager – does not intend to keep Nani at the club. The Portugal international will be one of the players sold in order to raise funds for new transfers. Juventus, who were interested in him last summer, are also looking to bring him to during this summer as well. They will help to come up with £ 10 million asking fee for the midfielder.

Nani’s agent, though, has speculated that the transfer may not happen at all.

“Nani to Juventus? I don’t issue statements on Nani because his current situation is a delicate one. Evra? Patrice’s situation is actually simple, he’s deciding what he wants to do next in the near future. His love for Manchester is absolute after nine years at United, but soon we will meet and evaluate the possible scenarios. Rossi? I brought Pepito to Italy, but his true agent is my brother, Andrea. I still don’t know if he will be playing in the Coppa Italia final against Napoli tomorrow,” said Nani’s agent.
